Kobe Bryant and Eric Avar’s collaborative efforts have always brought some of the sleekest bonafide performance renditions in Nike’s hoops catalog and the Kobe AD continues that tradition despite the fact that the Black Mamba has stepped off the hardwood for good. It’s no coincidence that this pair features Nike Kobe AD a retro Raptors colorway either, as this silhouette has been championed by DeMar DeRozan all season long. That being said, the outsole has completely been redesigned. There are no more hints of Lunar or Natural Motion here, as a solid Nike Zoom base has an updated traction pattern.
